Recycling reimagined, an incredible 98% of our OS2 Crew Offshore Jacket by Gill is made from reclaimed plastic bottles and recycled fibers, from the abrasion resistant outer panels right down to the adjustable shock cord hem - with no compromise in performance. 

The Jacket features XPLORE® 2-layer fabric construction for a waterproof and breathable finish, as well as XPEL® fabric technology to offer incredible levels of water repellency, stain resistance and odor control; keeping you protected and comfortable to the core.

A staple for offshore adventurers, the OS2 Jacket benefits from a high cut thermal collar, fully lined high-vis hood, reflective accents for 360° visibility and hand warmer cargo pockets with adjustable PU inner seals, so you have a watertight defense against the elements.

XPLORE® technology boasts a robust 2-layer construction that forms an impenetrable barrier against the elements. Stay dry and comfortable in the face of rain, wind and unpredictable weather conditions. Rigorously tested to an impressive 30,000mm column of water on the Hydrostatic Head, this fabric not only meets but exceeds established waterproof benchmarks. Its steadfast resilience guarantees that you stay dry and comfortable, defying the challenges posed by unpredictable weather conditions. Undergoing a demanding 4-hour Martindale test which involves continuous abrasion with grit paper, putting the fabric’s tenacity to the ultimate test.

XPEL® technology - As part of our commitment to reduce our impact on the environment, a big goal for us was to find a less harmful DWR finish free of PFCs of Environmental Concern.  Not only is our exclusive XPEL® fabric finish free of harmful PFCs, it also offers superior levels of water repellency and prolongs the lifecycle of the product.  

• Incredible levels of water repellency, water simply rolls off the fabric, keeping you dry even from spray when travelling at high speeds.
• Repels stains such as oil, fish blood and guts. Consistent levels of performance for up to 30 washes, with the treatment continuing to be effective for up to 50 washes.
• XPEL® stops any water and moisture penetrating the product, making it hard for bacteria to grow and populate which are the main sources of odors.
